Technique: Choosing the Right Foundation

Posted by A. Ivory on

he very first step in selecting your perfect foundation makeup is selecting the right shade of foundation for your skin tone. You will find that you either have warm or cool undertones to your skin. To get a foundation that perfectly matches your skin and to create the look of having naturally flawless skin, you need to wear a foundation with a right undertone and the right depth. Wearing the wrong color foundation can leave you looking like you are wearing a mask no matter how much you try to blend.

Usually you will fall into 5 depths of skin tone:

Light – This is usually women who have fair and light complexioned skin tones. Those who are naturally blond or red heads usually fall into this skin tone catego
